Ithaca, N.Y. - The men's track & field team competed at the Big Red Invitational hosted by Cornell this weekend. The meet featured schools from all three NCAA divisions and the junior college ranks. Senior captain James Aucoin (Nathan Hale Ray/East Haddan, Conn.) was Ithaca's top finisher, placing fourth in the triple jump (13.92 meters/45-8).

Freshman Kyle Devins (Ausable Valley/Peru) earned a pair of top-five finishes, placing fifth in the long jump (6.65 meters/21-10) and the triple jump (13.57 meters/44-6 1/4). Both marks meet the ECAC-qualifying standard.

Freshman Ryan Taylor (Ichabod Crane/Valatie) placed fifth in the javelin (48.34 meters/158-7), while sophomore Thomas Yee (Hendrick Hudson/Montrose) place seventh (46.28 meters/151-10).

The Bombers compete at the NYSCTC Championships at Rochester this weekend.
